Katana X

The Katana X was the culmination of a few different larger wing designs that I had built over the years.

This one had a few new features on it such as the hotwire cut leading edges, KFm step on the underside of the elevons and a double thickness of foam for the core panels (something I forgot to mention on the plan).

I did still have problems with balance on this wing and it needed a bit of lead in the nose to get a nice flight performance. But when I got it right it went very nicely indeed.

This wing was really intended to use the “LowPro” pod and you’ll find the files for this uploaded as well.
